TECHNOLOGICAL LINKAGE EXPERIENCES IN IMPACT PROJECTS OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY IN JUJUY

Abstract

Science, technology and innovation in the territory seek to achieve inclusive development with the participation and commitment of different institutions, which creates an impact in each application area with a social, environmental, economic, and productive reach.

The Federal Council of Science and Technology (COFECyT), within the framework of the Science and Technology Federalization Program, allocates funding instruments for Science, Technology and Innovation (CTI) projects to contribute to the federalization of science and technology and reduce asymmetries in access to knowledge, within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), established by the United Nations General Assembly (UNESCO).

The presentation of projects in COFECyT calls by institutions in the province of Jujuy has been sustained since the first call and has generated an impact in the provincial territory, resulting in the creation of antecedents for the development of new proposals that allow enhancing growth with the intervention of CTI actors and their articulation with other institutions of the province of Jujuy. Among the most representative projects that marked a milestone in the areas of execution and the participating entities, we can remark on successful or emblematic cases that represent the development in the province from a scientific, technological and innovative perspective, which makes it possible for its replication or scaling. The projects offer impact results in different towns of the province of Jujuy and overlap with the financing lines established by the COFECyT.
