The objective of this article is to characterize how the definition of specific postgraduate policies has led to the emergence of new institutional roles, which fall outside traditional administrative, academic, and political domains. We support these statements with empirical work and professional involvement in the accreditation processes of postgraduate programs at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the National University of Jujuy and the San Salvador Academic Department of the Catholic University of Santiago del Estero.
